New Delhi: Bhojpuri bombshell Archana Prajapati has done several telly serials and featured in as many as 15 films. The famous Bhojpuri actress is now all set to enter Bollywood. The sizzler will be seen making her big screen debut in Hindi films with 'Tujhe Salaam India'. In an exclusive conversation with Pratik Shekhar of Zee News Digital, the actress opened up on her upcoming projects and much more.

The actress revealed that in the film she will be seen playing the second lead. Archana will be seen enacting a journalist's role. The popular Bhojpuri face opened up on how she had to struggle initially and hide the fact that she was auditioning for roles from her parents, who were against her acting career.

The actress talked about how one fine day, some industry people met her father and tried explaining to him how talented Archana was. It was after a lot of coaxing that her father agreed and let her pursue her passion. She put in a lot of hard work and reached the top on her own and today her family is her biggest strength.

Her maiden Bhojpuri film 'Takdeer Ka Faisla' shooting was put on halt for some reason yet the actress never really lost on confidence.

Born and brought up in Mumbai, Archana originally hails from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. She will next be seen in Bhojpuri film 'Meri Jaan Tiranga' starring Ritesh Pandey and Priyanka Maharaj. Her last film 'Sakhi Ke Byah' featuring Rani Chatterjee was the talk of the town and her performance was much appreciated.

The 21-year-old actress believes in staying focussed as far as her work is concerned. When asked to comment on the allegations of vulgarity being shown in Bhojpuri films, the actress praised Dinesh Lal Yadav aka Nirahua's recent success 'Border' which she said was far away from any such thing. She said that Nirahua through his film 'Border' has let out a clear message that now vulgarity finds no place in Bhojpuri cinema.

Archana is a fan of Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan and even prayed for his well being. When it comes to actresses, the Bhojpuri star revealed that after watching 'Raazi', she has become a huge Alia Bhatt fan.
