Romance is in the air with Valentine`s Day just round the corner; there is blossoming of warm emotions for all love-birds. And this holds true for all our recent generation Bollywood couples too. Be it Ranbir-Katrina, Ranveer-Deepika, Arjun-Alia, or for that matter Parineeti-Maneesh love stories, Bollywood has them all and stories of their affairs are already abuzz in the Tinsel town. Here are the top current generation couples one can but afford to miss.... One of the most talked about couples is Ranbir-Katrina. After Deepika, Ranbir seems all hooked onto Katrina Kaif and both of them can barely be seen without each other. Their on-screen chemistry was affable in `Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani` and their off screen chemistry has sparked off many speculations as well. They may be in denial mode when it comes to their relationship but Ranbir and Katrina have more than once made a public appearance together, making one raise an eye-brow on their relation status. The most controversial of them all was the leaked picture from the beach in Spain. Kareena Kapoor has declared Katrina Kaif as her sister-in-law and that she would shake a leg on Katrina`s songs on Ranbir`s wedding day on `Koffee with Karan` ( though it might have been meant in lighter jest). However, the couple has maintained a dignified silence about them tying the knot any time soon. And despite rumor mills making frenzied speculations on them getting married, we only wish this couple all the best and hope that they break their silence soon. Nevertheless, the cat and mouse game that Kapoor and Kaif seem to be playing with the media continues. After Ranbir Kapoor, if there is any actor who has been stuck in the realm of love controversies, it`s `Student of the Year’ Rohan… Yes, he is none other than Varun Dhawan, who has now been linked with Taapsee Pannu. Taapsee Pannu is an Indian- model turned-film actress, who has worked in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi film industries. The duo has often been spotted together and is reportedly dating each other. Prior to this Varun Dhawan was linked with his former co-actress Alia Bhatt. But both of them denied rumours and have maintained their friendship ever since. Cupid has struck Bollywood`s most loved Parineeti Chopra who is reportedly dating `Shuddh Desi Romance` director Maneesh Sharma. Maneesh is an Indian film director and film story writer, who made his debut with `Band Baaja Baaraat` which won him the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Director. The two met during the shooting of `Ladies vs Ricky Bahl` and have often been spotted enjoying each other’s company. Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are reportedly the new couple in B-town. At a recent award function the couple was seen together and as sources said they could barely keep their eyes off each other. The two of them look adorable together , and their romance seems like one out of a fairytale .They have been frequently been spotted together at dinners and parties and will also be seen together in the upcoming movie, `2 States`. Whether they admit it or not all eyes are on them for a confirmation of their relationship. Actress Gauhar Khan, whose relationship with television actor Kushal Tandon grabbed many eyeballs in the recent reality show `Bigg Boss Saath-7`, after Kushal wooed Gauhar with his proposal and shared his love for her on air. Following the emotional proposal, she was touched and was moved to tears. She seems to be very excited to share screen space with him again in `Khatron Ke Khiladi 5`. When asked about her relationship, Gauhar said, "My relationship with Kushal is what it is. I`m not going to camouflage it or lie about it outside the Bigg Boss house. We came on the show, we became friends and we fell in love, and I don`t have to lie about it at all." The two will be competing with each other and Gauhar is all set to spend more time with her boyfriend. Yet another `Bigg Boss 7` fame couple, are Armaan-Tanisha; also known as Tan-Man. Contestants Tanisha Mukherjee and Armaan Kohli are going strong, post the reality show. Armaan and Tanisha seem to be inseparable after their Big Boss stint. They were a hot topic of discussion during the show due to their physical intimacy on camera. Post the show they were reported to be partying in Goa. Previously, Tanisha`s mother Tanuja and sister Kajol reportedly objected to their close counters on camera and wanted Tanisha to back off. But Tanisha was headstrong about her friendship with Armaan. Keeping the spirit of Valentine`s Day alive, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have struck a chord too. They were seen romancing each other in reel life in `Ram-Leela` but love seems to have blossomed in real life too. Though, the two have always maintained that they are just good friends but cozy pictures of them on the social media suggest otherwise. After splitting up with former boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika, it seems, has found solace in Ranveer and the two are one of the best looking couples in bollywood. Have they decided to settle down yet? Only time will tell. But for now their on-screen and off-screen chemistry has caught the attention of one and all. Their reel life romance was raunchy, and their real life love story has definitely set B-town ablaze. After John Abraham tied the knot this year with girlfriend Priya Runchal, his ex-flame Bipasha Basu too has decided to settle down this year with Harman Baweja. As rumours are rife about them to tying the knot, sources also added that Bipasha`s parents formally met Harman`s parents at his residence in Lokhandwala recently. This is yet another good news for their fans if reports of them getting engaged turns out to be true. For all the couples mentioned, the year ahead will show how far their love will take them. Let’s hope Valentine’s Day sets the stage for sweet-love. As Valentine’s Day calls on good faith for these couples, we only hope that the singles like Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapur, Sonakshi sinha, Siddharth Malhotra soon have cupid strike them too and they celebrate the next Valentine’s Day with their better halves.
