Anushka Sharma’s Pari teaser out and it is spooky – Watch

Mumbai: The teaser of Anushka Sharma starrer Pari was unveiled on Tuesday. The film directed by Prosit Roy comes across as a film that will narrate the spooky tale of a girl name Pari! Interestingly, the caption – ‘not a fairytale’ – drops hints about the storyline.

Jointly produced by Clean Slate Films (Anushka and her brother’s production company) & KriArj Entertainment, Pari also stars Parambrata Chatterjee, Rajat Kapoor & Ritabhari Chakraborty in pivotal roles.

The official Twitter handle of the film unveiled the teaser by posting: “Sweet dreams guys... #HoliWithPari (sic).”

In the teaser, we can see the closeup of Pari (played by Anushka), probably an innocent girl in distress. The pain in her eyes is visible and they speak volumes about the agony she has endured. As the camera subtly zooms in, we can see scars and blood stains gradually appearing on her face.

Pari, Anushka’s third production venture is all set to hit the silverscreen on Holi this year. The film will release on March 2.

Anushka turned producer with NH 10 and then went on to produce Phillauri.

NH 10 showed Anushka as a modern day urban women who lands in trouble on the highway while Phillauri presented the actress as a village belle who turns into a ghost after ending her life under pressure.

Pari will be Anushka’s first film to release after her marriage. The actor-producer tied the nuptial knot with Indian cricket team’s captain Virat Kohli in a hush-hush ceremony in Tuscany, Italy on December 11 last year.
