New Delhi: Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmavati finally gets a long-awaited clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). It has reportedly given a UA certificate to the film without any cuts but has suggested that the director change the film's title to Padmavat besides making four other modifications.
The moment this was out, social media lost its calm over the suggested title change. The period drama is based on the 16th-century epic poem Padmavat by Malik Muhammad Jayasi and that explains why the stress on the new title.
But Twitter is a vibrant place which takes no time in cracking up jokes. So, the new title suggestion got its share of trolls hitting the tweets one after another. Take a look at some of the sassiest ones by Twitterati:
According to the new regime it should be PadmaGST instead of PadmaVAT.

Padmavati features Deepika Padukone in the titular role as Rani Padmini, Shahid Kapoor plays Maharawal Ratan Singh whereas Ranveer Singh will be seen as Alauddin Khilji.
The film was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on December 1, 2017, but after facing major protests across the nation by fringe groups, its release date was pushed ahead for indefinite time.
Now that CBFC has given it a green signal, we can't wait for the new release date to be announced soon.
