Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu's latest film 'Naam Shabana' witnessed a rise, in terms of Box Office collections, on its day two. The movie reportedly managed to mint more than Rs 6 crore on Saturday.

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu's latest film 'Naam Shabana' witnessed a rise, in terms of Box Office collections, on its day two. The movie reportedly managed to mint more than Rs 6 crore on Saturday.

"#NaamShabana witnessed healthy 24.41% growth on Sat... Sun biz is crucial... Fri 5.12 cr, Sat 6.37 cr. Total: ₹ 11.49 cr. India biz," Hindi movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Co-starring Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpayee, Danny Denzongpa and Prithviraj Sukumaran, the Shivam Nair directorial released in around 2100 screens across India, according to trade pundits.

The film is a spin-off of the 2015 hit 'Baby', in which Taapsee featured as Shabana. Now the new movie tells the story behind her character.

It was released on March 31 this year.
