Salman Khan goes gaga over Katrina Kaif - Deets inside

Mumbai: Former real-life couple and one of Bollywood’s hottest onscreen jodis – Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif – are all set to make a splash on the silverscreen again with Ali Abbas Zafar’s spy-thriller Tiger Zinda Hai on December 22.

The film which happens to be the biggest release of this month is a sequel to Kabir Khan’s 2012 Eid blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, which narrated the tale of two spies – one Indian (Tiger played by Salman) and the other, a Pakistani (Zoya essayed by Katrina).

Salman has always spoken lovely things about Katrina and has often expressed his admiration for her. The beautiful lady too has great regards for the Bollywood hunk who played a pivotal role in resurrecting her career in the film industry.

Recently, during an interview with DNA, Salman explained why he feels Katrina is the apt choice for Zoya’s character and how her beauty has overpowered her performance.

“Katrina is the most hard-working girl that I have come across. She is sincere, dedicated and sharp. Sometimes people are so beautiful that you don’t give them credit for their work. That’s what has happened with Katrina. Her beauty takes away from her work. While, sometimes with those who are not so great looking, you say, ‘kya kaam kiya hai’. People who are really good looking on screen, you say star hai.  For this film, I don’t see anyone other than Katrina fitting in. She trained for her action sequences for four hours every single day,” the daily quoted Salman as saying.

Katrina is not just Salman’s BFF but is equally close to his family. She is often seen at his family functions and parties.
