Mumbai: Salman Khan starrer ‘Tubelight’ is undoubtedly one of the most antic pated films of the year. Directed by Kabir Khan, the big banner film will see Salman return to the big screen after wowing audiences as a wrestler in ‘Sultan’ last year.
Fans of the superstar are earnestly looking forward to the teaser and trailer of ‘Tubelight’, which is slated to release on Eid this year. And according to A Bollywoodlife.com report, originally attributed to Mumbai Mirror, it is evident that the teaser of ‘Tubelight’ will be extremely special.
Buzz has it that the teaser will have a soundtrack sung by untrained children aged between 6 and 11, who reside at Salman’s Galaxy apartment.
Filmmaker Kabir Khan has apparently confirmed the news.
“Salman and I decided to use a chorus by kids for the teasers but we didn’t want to get trained kids to do it. So he suggested we round up a bunch of kids from his building and do it in a fun way. He and I then spoke to the kids ranging from six to 11 years and took them to the studio where Salman explained to them what we are doing. We are using this chorus in the teaser logo as well as the teaser promo,” the report quoted Khan as saying.
“Salman really enjoys working with kids and has a special equation with them that he doesn’t often share with grown-ups. Even when we are shooting amongst thousands of spectators, he will always point to a kid, call him and spend time with him. That’s also one of the reasons ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ which revolved around Munni played by Harshali (Malhotra) happened; I knew he would have a special connect with the child,” Khan added.
‘Tubelight’ is reportedly a war film set in the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China war. The film will introduce Chinese supermodel and actress – ZhuZhu and feature Shah Rukh Khan in a special role.
