Shah Rukh Khan's 'Tubelight' role screamed for a superstar cameo, reveals Kabir Khan

New Delhi: One of the maverick filmmakers in Bollywood, Kabir Khan is ready to present yet another amazing story before the audience. 'Tubelight' starring Salman Khan is high on buzz and there are ample reasons for it.

Firstly, it is a Salman Khan film and it can't get bigger than that. Then, it also has a Chinese actress Zhu Zhu making her debut in Bollywood opposite the 'Sultan' Khan.

Also, what's making everyone talk about the film is the fact that Shah Rukh Khan will be seen doing a cameo in it. The fans can't be happier to know that SRK and Salman—the original Karan-Arjun will be reuniting on the big screens, even if it is not a full-fledged part.

IndianExpress.com quoted Kabir Khan as talking to a leading daily in an interview about SRK's role. He said, “It was a role screaming for a superstar cameo otherwise I wouldn’t have. I find it gimmicky. But when you will watch the film, you will realise the role needed a superstar. We went to him with the role and he was kind enough to agree. It is a brilliant cameo but I can’t say much about it because it will take away the joy of seeing it.”
