All-new Skoda Superb 2016 launched in India at Rs 22.68 lakh

New Delhi: Czech carmaker Skoda India on Tuesday launched the latest version of its flagship model Superb sedan priced at Rs 22.68 lakh for the base variant (ex-showroom Mumbai) to enhance its position in the mid-class segment.

The third generation of the sedan comes with a new 1.8 litre petrol and 2 litre diesel engine.

The new Superb is more powerful than ever and yet it is up to 30 percent more economical, thanks to new and efficient engines and improved aerodynamics, the company said.

The petrol variants of the car are priced at Rs 22.68 lakh, Rs 23.91 lakh and Rs 26.89 lakh while the diesel trims are priced at Rs 26.39 lakh and Rs 29.36 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Mumbai).

Besides Superb, the company also sells Octavia, Yeti and Rapid models in the country.
