London: The set used as a backdrop in the ‘Harry Potter’ movies will go on display in London later this month. This incredible model of Hogwarts is based on English castle and cathedrals.
Bafta award-winning production designer Stuart Craig said that he had in mind the famous towers of castles in Durham and Alnwick, Northumberland, when he came up with the design, a leading daily has reported. The model, which measures 50ft across, was built for the first HP movie – ‘Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone’ - back in 2001. The film set will go on display as part of Warner Bros ‘The Making Of Harry Potter studio’ tour at Leavesden Studios, near Watford. ANI
