Los Angeles: Hollywood actors Aaron Johnson and Anton Yelchin are the latest names added to the list of possible actors to play lead role in the third instalment of ‘Spiderman’ franchise.
Previously, it was reported that Jamie Bell has been cast as the new depicter of Peter Parker in an untitled "Spider-Man" reboot. But now it has emerged that these two names have been added as the potential lead actor for the film, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Johnson is dubbed an appropriate depicter of young Parker by the site considering his latest appearance as a teenager who want to be a superhero in the movie ‘Kick-Ass’. Yelchin is said to have the same chance because his portrayal of Kyle Reese in action movie ‘Terminator Salvation’ is quite impressive.
‘Spider-Man’ reboot was announced to be developed in early this year after Sony Pictures scrapped ‘Spider-Man 4’.
The upcoming film will follow the character Peter Parker during his high school age, thus Tobey Maguire who has played the character in three ‘Spider-Man’ films will not return in the new instalment.
Actors Josh Hutcherson, Alden Ehrenreich, Frank Dillane and Andrew Garfield, in addition to Jamie Bell were some others who were tipped to be considered to star in the movie.
