Thousands gather on London streets to witness the wedding of the decade

Thousands of people have already started gathering on the streets of central London to witness the royal event. Several people camped out overnight on the procession route so that they wouldn’t miss the first glimpse of the new couple.

According to the BBC, Prince William and Kate Middleton would travel in the open topped carriage from Westminster Abbey to the Palace. Everyone is speculating whether Britain’s Prince William and his fiancée Kate Middleton will keep up with the traditions of a royal wedding? Even as Kate and William’s honeymoon destination is a tight lipped secret, Kenya and the Seychelles are doing rounds as possible destinations. What more, speculation is growing over Kate Middleton’s wedding dress. Fashion fraternity is expecting Kate to go for traditional style. Buzz has it that Kate could possibly wear the Queen’s diamond encrusted tiara and William will keep with tradition and marry in military regalia, much like his father Prince Charles. Kate is believed to be adopting late Princess Diana’s policy of removing the word ‘obey’ from her wedding vows. Last week, Queen Elizabeth also met Kate’s parents, Carol and Michael for the first time at a private lunch in Buckingham Palace. The post-wedding meal will be hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace, and would include exquisite British culinary delights, accompanied by wine and champagne from the palace cellar, and the wedding cake featuring the four national flags of the British Isles. During the night, the after-hours entertainment is being looked after by Prince Harry and his girlfriend Chelsy Davy. The prince convert three rooms in Buckingham Palace into a posh nightclub, which will serve bacon sandwiches at a Survivor’s Breakfast’ to anyone who will be awake till 6 am.
