Chennai: Rolls-Royce's latest luxury car Wraith on Wednesday made a visit to the city, known as India's Detroit, on its tour of major cities in the country.
Chennai is the third Indian city Wraith is visiting and its tour will continue to Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad.
The price of the luxurious four-seater, which made a spectacular appearance before the audience at a hotel here, starts at Rs 4.6 crore in India.
"Known as the automotive hub of India, Chennai is a significant city where we are seeing good levels of interest in Rolls-Royce cars. We see Wraith?s power and style being particularly appealing to our customers here," Vasanthi Bhupati, Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Hyderabad, said.
The brand has authorised dealers at Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad and a new showroom is due to open in Chandigarh over the next few months.
