Mumbai: Controversial TV reality show, `Bigg Boss` that was making headlines for having approached the infamous Maria Susairaj (co-conspirator of TV professional Neeraj Grover`s murder) to be an inmate of the house has actually offered ex cricketer and now cricket commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu a mammoth compensation for appearing on the show.
If the news that is doing rounds is to be believed, Sidhu has been offered a sum of Rs 5 crores to be a part of the show’s fifth season.
Apparently, the flamboyant and talkative cricketer was approached by the makers of `Bigg Boss` a couple of years back, but the stylish Sardar ji backed out at the eleventh hour! So designer Rohit Varma was roped in as his replacement.
Talking to a tabloid, a source said, "The makers have already approached Sidhu with an offer that he cannot refuse. The huge sum is for him to spend five weeks inside the `Bigg Boss` house with the other contestants. They are aware that his `Sidhuisms` are a great hit with the viewers and are keen to rope him."
"The channel has already started penciling in the contestants for the next outing. The show is slated to go on air around October," added the source.
No matter what this `Kingg Singh` of the cricketing fraternity decides to do, his diehard fans would love to hear him crack some of his stupendous phrases from his virtual book titled `Sidhuism`.
