It looks like Apple is gearing up to bring a slew of smartphones and tablets to the market, again. Reports suggest that the iPhone maker is working on not one but two iPhones! If that’s not enough there might be another next generation iPad and an updated iPad Mini around the corner.
Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at KGI Securities, whose earlier predictions on Apple products were spot on since iPhone 4S, states that the Cupertino-based tech giant is working on an iPhone 5 successor. The new iPhone will have features like better and smooth processor, the much-talked about fingerprint sensor, improved camera and LED flash.
The rumours around fingerprint recognition system on the iPhone gains momentum since Apple acquired Authentec which expertises on technology.
When you talk about the new iPhone in the works, Kuo suggest that the smartphone will be pretty similar to the iPhone 5 but will be stockier.
So instead of the usual aluminium body and the slim waistline 7.6mm, the cheaper iPhone will sport a plastic casing and measuring 8.2mm around the sides.
Kuo also said that the phone will be made available in six colours.
