New Delhi: It’s raining Samsung! For Samsung fans, the month of August has been quite good.

From tablets to smartphones to Phablets, Samsung has a long list of products launched in August.

Let’s have a look at Samsung products that were launched in the month of August.

Samsung windows phone ATIV S

Piping handset maker Nokia, Samsung has emerged as the first to announce Smartphone using Microsoft's latest mobile software.

Samsung’s ATIV S Windows phone sports a high-end 4.8-inch display, Corning "Gorilla" glass, and an 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, as per an official blog posted by Microsoft posted on Wednesday.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Samsung electronics launched Galaxy Note II at the IFA event in Berlin.

The device is powered by a 1.6GHz quad core Exynos 4412 processor, a 4G LTE connectivity, 5.5 inch 1280 x 720 AMOLED display, 16, 32 or 64 GBs of storage capacity. Also, the Note 2 features an 8 MP rear camera while running of Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean.

Samsung Galaxy Note 800

Samsung launched its 10.1-inch Galaxy Note 800, priced at Rs 39,990.

The device comes with a stylus (S Pen), a 10.1-inch display, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 5-megapixel main camera and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera.

Samsung Galaxy S Duos

Samsung unveiled the dual sim Galaxy S Duos dual SIM smartphone that is slated to go for sale in Europe next month followed by India and other markets later.

The smartphone has a 4-inch WVGA TFT screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It runs the Ice Cream Sandwich platform however there is no mention of Jelly Bean as of now.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet

Samsung Electronics launched the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet in Britain, United States and South Korea.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 tab is a tad bigger than its predecessor, which stood at 9.7 inches, and has new teeth of its own with a stylus-based note taking and sketching function. It also allows users to work on two separate apps simultaneously, appearing side-by-side.

The Note 10.1 uses Google’s Android software and a quad-core processor with 1.4 GHz clock speeds. It boasts a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.9 megapixel front facing camera, which also detects users' eye movements to prevent the device from going into standby mode.

The device with 16 gigabytes of memory and wifi-only function will be sold for USD 499, the same as the latest iPad, and a 32GB model for USD 549, versus iPad's USD 599.

Samsung Notebook Series 9

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd introduced the second generation of Samsung Notebook Series 9. The notebook is priced at Rs 1, 02,990.

The Samsung Series 9 features Samsung’s MaxScreen technology, which minimizes the bezel size while maximizing the screen size by an extra inch. The 13” Series 9 measures only 12.9mm (0.5”) and weighs just 1.16kg (2.5 lbs) — 28 percent smaller than its predecessor, and truly revolutionary for its category.

Samsung Notebook Series 5 550P

Samsung Electronics launched its new Notebook Series 5 550P with Intel’s 3rd generation Quad Core processor.

The 15 inch model weighs just 2.5 kg and is priced at Rs 62,990.

With Intel’s latest 3rd generation Core i7, dedicated graphics, full HD display, JBL optimized speakers with subwoofer as well as a Blu-ray drive and generous storage capacity, the Series 5 550P delivers boosted multimedia experience even on the go.
