New Delhi: Soon after Samsung announced that the Galaxy S3 is coming to all major US network carriers viz AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile and Sprint along with regional carrier US Wireless, all the networks have queue up to take pre-orders.
Though all the US networks have not announced the exact pre-order price list, most of the companies are selling the Samsung Galaxy S3 models at price starting from USD 199.99. Based on this list, lets take a look into how the price range is going to be. For Sprint:
For the 16GB model you will have to shell out USD 199.99 and USD 249.99 for the 32GB model, with new two-year contracts. The device will be sold through all channels: Sprint Stores, Sprint Business Sales, Telesales and Web Sales, with the 32GB being available only in the carrier’s online store.Verizon wireless:
The 16 GB model of Galaxy S3 will cost USD 199.99. The US version of the Galaxy S3 will be launched for both 4G LTE and HSPA+ 42 networks. For AT&T stores:
Galaxy S3 will be available for USD199.99 for the 16 GB model after a two-year contract. AT&T stores will also offer a 16 GB microSD card for USD39 for a total of 32 GB for under USD238.99.For T-Mobile
Samsung Galaxy S3 price tag has not been announced yet but, knowing that other carriers will be pricing the 16 GB version at USD199.99 (on a two year contract), the market is expecting that the company will follow suite. For Best Buy
Best buy has revealed that it would now accept pre-orders for the handset on three mobile networks.
Best Buy’s pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S3 cover the models sold by AT&T, Sprint and Verizon, and could be availed of in all its retail stores and big box locations across the country. The pricing has not been confirmed. Although it can be speculated that rates would not exceed much beyond the other networking companies.Non-contract price assumption:
According media sources quoted (an international website quoted), the non-contract price of the 16GB Samsung Galaxy S3 will be set at USD 599, while the the price of 32GB model has been set for USD 649.
