Kelly Rowland fed up of comparison with Beyonce

London: Former Destiny`s Child singer Kelly Rowland admits being fed up of being compared to former bandmate Beyonce Knowles.

The `Commander` hitmaker, who rose to fame alongside Beyonce when they were co-members of girl group Destiny`s Child, still considers the `Single Ladies` singer to be a "sister", but she finds the comparisons between them as "unintelligent", The Independent reported. "We`re sisters! But claims of negativity and cat-fights sell way more. People can`t think of anything more intelligent than to compare. And that`s only natural, I understand," Rowland said. "That`s just the way the industry is, so you find a way to make things your own. But even though my sound sounds like nothing she`s done, people are going to find something to say," the singer explained. The 29-year-old singer, who professionally split with Beyonce`s father and manager Mathew Knowles in January 2009, insists that the split was an amicable decision by both sides. "I just needed a change - and he was very supportive, and that`s it," she said. Rowland recently dismissed rumours of a Destiny`s Child reunion after Mathew claimed its possibility in near future. "Matthew is not a member of Destiny`s child so, with all due respect, that`s not a decision he can make - that`s up to myself, Beyonce and Michelle (Williams)," she added. PTI
