New Delhi: The first batch of Windows 10 phones Microsoft Lumia 950 is almost here. It is Microsoft's first ever Windows 10-powered phone.

As per The Verge, AT&T will start accepting orders for the Lumia 950 online from Tuesday, with stock available in stores on Friday. One of the big new features of Windows 10 Mobile and the Lumia 950 is Continuum. It allows the phone to transform into a PC, but AT&T will be selling the essential Microsoft Display Dock separately.

The Display Dock will let you connect a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the Lumia 950.

Alongside Continuum, Microsoft's Lumia 950 will also include support for facial recognition thanks to Windows Hello.

You'll be able to unlock a Lumia 950 with just your face as a result, and log into websites and buy apps or movies with your face.

AT&T is offering the Lumia 950 in matte black or white on a variety of its once-controversial but now fairly normal Next plans.

Next allows you to pay a small monthly fee for the privilege of upgrading your phone every year without a down payment.

The cheapest Next plan is Next 24 which, confusingly, runs for 30 months at $19.97 per month.

AT&T is also offering the Surface 3 for $399.99 for anyone who purchases a Lumia 950 with Next.

Microsoft is also expected to start selling the Lumia 950 XL unlocked at its own stores in the US, but the software maker has not yet announced official pricing or timing.
