Considerate Aamir postpones ‘3 Idiots’ shoot for Kareena

Aamir Khan has postponed the shooting of his film ‘3 Idiots’, allowing Kareena to celebrate her 29th birthday.

Mumbai: Everyone knows how particular Aamir Khan is with his films and profession. But surprising many, Aamir has postponed the shooting of his film ‘3 Idiots’ for four days only for his co-star and friend Kareena Kapoor, so that she can celebrate her 29th birthday - which happens to be today. A few days back, there were reports suggesting that Kareena had decided to cancel all her birthday plans for Aamir, as he was already going through a tough time because of his wife Kiran Rao’s miscarriage. But now, like a true gentleman, Aamir has postponed the shoot of his much-awaited flick ‘3 Idiots’, ensuring that Bebo doesn’t miss out on her special day celebration. A source said, "Aamir wants to complete the shooting of ‘3 Idiots’ on time so that the film can be released on December 25. But it suddenly struck him and Raju Hirani (the director) that the last schedule fell on Kareena`s birthday again. So, Aamir told Raju to postpone the shoot if need be, but let Kareena off to celebrate her birthday." Incidentally, last year, Kareena couldn’t celebrate her birthday with family or friends, because she was busy shooting for the same film in Ladakh. Aamir had then arranged for a cake, which was cut by the actress on the sets of the film. But fortunately, Kareena is happily celebrating her b`day today with none other than beau Saif in Udaipur; all thanks to Aamir!
