Muslims across the country celebrate Eid

New Delhi: Muslims across the country are celebrating Eid ul-Fitr, a festival of joy and feasting, marking the end of the fasting month of Ramazan.

In Delhi tens of thousands of Muslims offered Eid prayers at the historic Jama Masjid. As is customary, people embraced each other and exchanged Eid greetings after the prayers. Similar prayers and greetings were exchanged at a mosque outside the Taj Mahal complex in Agra. In Patna, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took part in Eid prayers. Kumar called on people to join hands to create a new and beautiful Bihar. ANI
