Metallica fiasco: Judicial custody for four

Rajesh Kumar, the general manager of DNA Entertainment Networks, and his colleagues Umesh Chinara, Ashok Singh and Savio Faleiro were arrested Oct 29 on charges of cheating and breach of trust and sent to police custody for six days. The lawyer for the accused persons said he will move their bail plea Friday. The much-anticipated concert by the American hard rock band Metallica, scheduled for Oct 28, was cancelled at the last minute. Over 25,000 fans had gathered at the Leisure Valley Park here in Sector 29 to watch the concert, the opener for the `F1 Rocks` series of performances for the Formula-1 race at Greater Noida. Upset over the cancellation, the fans vandalised the stage, exopensive equipment and broke barricades. IANS
