Debutant director Kireet Khurana to join FICCI`s core group

Mumbai: Kireet Khurana, whose directorial debut ‘Toonpur Ka Superhero’ is ready to hit screens, is set to join FICCI`s core group to work towards improving animation industry in India.

Khurana, who specialises in animation, has been chosen to identify gaps and give impetus to the animation industry. ’Toonpur Ka Superhero’ that has Ajay Devgn in male lead is set to hit the theatres Dec 24. Before ‘Toonpur Ka Superhero’, Kireet directed many short films, animation series and Public Service films like ‘Rights From The Heart’ (for UNICEF), ‘Adventures of Chhota Birbal’ (for Cartoon Network) and ‘Laadli’ (Children`s Film Society India).
