Chief Operating Officer of Britannica jumps to death in Gurgaon

Gurgaon: The Chief Operating Officer of a division of Encylopedia Britannica allegedly committed suicide and jumped to death from his 19th floor DLF Phase III flat on Sunday.

Vineet Whig, was 47-year-old and is survived by his father, wife, two sons and a daughter.

A per report, police has found a suicide note from his pocket which said that he did not wish to live anymore as he is fed up with himself.

On hearing Vineet's death, his father Om Whig suffered a heart attack and is hospitalized.

Vineet was passionate about  wildlife photography,  and music, travelling, and maintained a blog 'Vineet on Earth!'.

As per report, legal formalities including autopsy have been completed under Section 174 of CrPC.
