Purist Aamir attends the subtitling sessions for ‘3 Idiots’

Mumbai: In Bollywood, the perfectionist actor-producer Aamir Khan is celebrated as an epitome of exactness and precision. According to the latest Bollywood news, Aamir has shown a keen interest in subtitling ‘3 Idiots’ so much so that the actor is diligently attending all the subtitling sessions for the flick in order to check the English translations of the dialogues and spellings of the movie. News has it that Raju Hirani was quiet busy with the post-production of the film and herein Aamir came to the rescue of the director. Hirani said, "As I am busy with the film`s post-production, I have been keeping late nights. A few days back, Aamir casually called me. I happened to tell him that I had been juggling too many things at the same time. I mentioned that the movie`s subtitling work was on and it was proving tedious." A euphoric Hirani maintained, "Subtitling is a tedious and painstaking task. You have to check not only that the translations match the dialogues but also the spellings and grammar. I was shocked when Aamir volunteered to sit on the subtitling desk to check the spellings and grammar!" According to Hirani, Aamir was good at subtitling. He said, "Normally, no actor gets involved in all this kind of stuff. But then that`s Aamir who shows so much passion and zeal for everything. There is this sense of pride and love for what he does. He is so involved in every aspect of a film. It is like everything about the film just right including the subtitling!" Starring Kareena Kapoor, Sharman Joshi, Madhavan along with Aamir Khan, ‘3 Idiots’ is all set for a Christmas release.
