Rourke and Basinger reunite after cult classic `9 1/2 Weeks`

London, April 18: Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger will reunite on screen, 23 years after the cult classic `9 ½ Weeks` first gained them stardom.The sexually charged film about the sadistic relationship shared by an urban couple had shot the young actors to fame in 1986, but despite their successful pairing the two had not worked together again, due to reasons that are yet unknown, reported Daily Mail online.

But Rourke and Basinger united on and off screen for the upcoming film `The Informers`. During the Los Angeles premier of the film, the pair posed together on the red carpet even hugging and holding hands, for the cameras. While Rourke pulled off a stylish orange-checkered suit-jacket, paired with shades and slicked-back hair, Basinger sported the season`s trend, a trouser suit. Bureau Report
