London: Singer Justin Bieber is the latest celebrity to fall victim to internet pranksters.Hackers infiltrated Bieber`s YouTube page and his fans were allegedly fed false reports that he had died in a car crash, while others were redirected to porn sites.
Bosses at internet search engine Google, which owns YouTube, took immediate action to remedy the problem and it was fixed within a matter of hours. "We took swift action to fix a...vulnerability on Youtube.com that was discovered several hours ago. Comments were temporarily hidden by default within an hour, and we released a complete fix for the issue in about two hours. We`re continuing to study the vulnerability to help prevent similar issues in the future," dailystar.co.uk quoted Google bosses as saying in a statement. IANS
