Gaga left ‘devastated and speechless’ for 48 hrs by Winehouse’s death

London: Pop superstar Lady Gaga has revealed that she was so devastated by Amy Winehouse’s death that she couldn’t speak for 48 hours.

The ‘Judas’ singer spoke of her grief about the demise of the ‘Back To Black’ singer, who she described as ‘the most lovely and nice and kind woman,’ even though she never met her. “I am just so devastated and so sad and I really could not speak for 48 hours straight I was in such shock,” the Daily Mail quoted her saying on The View chat show. Gaga then went on to say that Winehouse’s death is a lesson to the world. “I think the most unfortunate thing about it all is the way that the media spins things, like we can learn from Amy’s death,” she stated. “I don’t feel that Amy needed to learn any lessons. I felt that the lesson was for the world to be kinder to the superstar,” the singer added. ANI
