Washington: Rolling Stones have topped the UK albums chart with a re-release of their classic LP `Exile On Main Street.`
`Exile On Main Street` landed in first place for the second time in 38 years, with the re-release of the legendary rock band`s 1972 album pipping Faithless`s respective new entry. `The Dance`, the electronica band`s sixth studio album, settled for second place. A song by Leeds United FC`s 1972 squad, re-released to celebrate the club`s recent promotion, is at number 10, while US rapper B.o.B is at number one on the singles chart with `Nothin` On You`, according to the Official Charts Company. "It`s quite a result for an album from 1972 to be back at number one. It proves the Stones`s music is as powerful today as when it was created," the BBC quoted David Joseph, chairman of the Stones`s label Universal Music UK, as saying. ANI
