WATCH: Shraddha and Aditya rework the 90’s romance in ‘Aashiqui 2’

New Delhi: Remember the 90’s hit romance saga, ‘Aashiqui’, starring Anu Aggarwal and Rahul Roy that took the country by storm with its honest, simple and innocent love story, and not to forget, its soulful romantic numbers sung by maestros Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal? In an attempt to recreate that magic once again, producers Mahesh Bhatt and T-Series are back with ‘Aashiqui 2’, with a fresh pairing of Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Going by the trailer, it happens to be another promising quintessential romantic film. In the film, the male protagonist (Aditya) is playing a musician and Shraddha is playing his ladylove. The background score in the trailer is a strong hint that even this time the makers will be putting high emphasis on the music of the film.
