New `Superman` film is "very exciting": Christopher Nolan

Los Angeles: `Dark Knight` director Christopher Nolan has confirmed the storyline for the next venture `Superman` movie is "very exciting".The director, who is overseeing work on the upcoming film as a "mentor" but not believed to be directing it, has said that the project is well on the way to starting up, Los Angeles Time reported.

"It`s very exciting; we have a fantastic story. And we feel we can do it right. We know the milieu, if you will, we know the genre and how to get it done right," Nolan said. "A lot of people have approached `Superman` in a lot of different ways. I only know the way that has worked for us that`s what I know how to do. Each serves to the internal logic of the story. They have nothing to do with each other," he added. Last month a source close to the film, which has not yet been cast, admitted there was still a lot to do before production could commence on the movie. "We know what we don`t want to do. But we don`t know what we want to do. We learned a lot from the last movie, and we want to get it right this time. Warner Bros need to hear a great story that makes sense," the source said. PTI
