Brett Morgen working on Kurt Cobain film

London: Filmmaker Brett Morgen, who directed the Rolling Stones documentary `Crossfire Hurricane`, is currently working on a film about rock legend Kurt Cobain.

Morgen has been developing the as-yet-untitled documentary with the Nirvana frontman`s widow Courtney Love for the past five years, and reckons on a 2014 release, reported Sun online. "It`ll be an embodiment of his character. If you think about Kurt, he`s a contradiction. He could be sincere and sentimental, and also ironic and sarcastic. He was sweet and sour. He was incredibly funny, too. The film has to reflect his spirit," he said. `Crossfire Hurricane`, which documents key periods in The Stones` history, will be out on DVD from tomorrow. PTI
