London: Alexandra Burke has teamed up with UK high street store Debenhams for a new a limited edition clothing collection.
The `Bad Boys` hitmaker is one of a number of celebrities who have joined forces with the store to create a unique item of clothing for the `BBC Children in Need Celebrity Style Challenge 2011`, reported Femalefirst.
The clothes will raise funds for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK. Burke, 23, is joined in the style challenge by singer Chipmunk, cricketer Kevin Pietersen, actress Patsy Kensit and model Tamara Ecclestone. The singer developed partywear, Chipmunk took on streetwear, and Patsy Kensit devised a smart tailored jacket. "Our team of expert designers have worked closely with the five celebrities to create limited edition, wearable pieces to raise money for this fantastic cause. We look forward to seeing which designs make the cut, ready to be snapped up by shoppers come the BBC Children in Need Appeal in November," said Ed Watson, head of Debenhams store. PTI
