New Delhi: He made his Bollywood debut with `Kal Kisne Dekha` which failed to make a mark at the box office, but actor Jackky Bhagnani`s next `F.A.L.T.U` is sure to ring a bell with the audiences.
The youth entertainer was shot in the University of Mauritius, the place where Shah Rukh, Kajol and Rani met and romanced in the superhit film `Kuch Kuch Hota Hai`.
"This university was just the right setting for our film. It is a young film and has a fun filled entertainment quotient to it. There are many students from the University who too are a part of the cast," Jackky told reporters.
On lines of Riverdale setting of Archie comics, the University of Mauritius came in handy with Shah Rukh, Kajol and Rani filling in the shoes of Archie, Betty and Veronica.
"Well, you have to wait and watch to see how we have used the same setting for ‘F.A.L.T.U.’ What I can promise though is that the University acts not only as a platform to aid in visual treatment but also as a setting which compliments the flavour of the film and it`s core subject," added the actor who is the son of producer Vashu Bhagnani.
The actor said that he has further worked on his appearance to look more "hero-like" for his second outing, which will see him sauntering on the beaches of Maldives.
"It made sense for all to be stationed in one location without any distraction whatsoever. This is the reason why all of us, the principal cast, crew as well as hundred odd other artists, travelled together and promised ourselves that we would leave the island only after we are through wrapping up the shoot," said Jackky.
Resultantly, the film was wrapped up in quick time despite a new director, Remo D`Souza, being on board.
The film has now moved into post production and gearing up for a release early next year. The film is aiming for a Valentines release which means 11th February could well be the chosen date for arrival.
Incidentally, this is the same date when a biggie `Patiala House`, starring Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma and Rishi Kapoor, is also releasing.
"Well, the way F.A.L.T.U. has shaped up, I am confident that we have managed to do what we wanted", says Jackky.
Marking the debut of ex-Miss India Pooja Gupta as the leading lady, ‘F.A.L.T.U.’ is a Vashu Bhagnani production that also sees Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi in special appearances with Chandan Roy Sanyal and Akbar Khan playing other important roles.
