O-BAMA earrings sale skyrocket after Beyonce wears it on night out in NYC

London: Beyonce Knowles - an ardent supporter of Barack Obama - unwittingly helped sell a pair of earring with the US President’s name on it, when she wore it on Saturday.

Fans from across the world are buying up thousands of pro-Obama earrings, designed by Puerto Rican jewelry designer, Erika Pena. The minute images of the 31-year-old singer wearing the earrings emerged, Pena was flooded with orders for the 32-dollar-set, the Daily Mail reported. According to TMZ.com, Pena said that she’s now sold over 1,300 pairs with London credited as the city making the most orders. Some may think Pena has missed a key letter from the President’s name, but the circular shape of the hoop also stands for the first letter: O-BAMA. ANI
