Katrina Kaif to play Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter?

Katrina Kaif seems to be in an experimental mode these days, as after playing a politician in Prakash Jha’s upcoming flick ‘Raajneeti’, the actress is said to be all set to play Amitabh’s daughter in Jha’s next venture ‘Aarakshan.’ In ‘Aarakshan’, Katrina will be seen opposite Ajay Devgn. The film is set in the backdrop of academics and job reservations, where Big B plays the role of a college principal and Ajay plays a student.

Mumbai: Katrina Kaif seems to be in an experimental mode these days, as after playing a politician in Prakash Jha’s upcoming flick ‘Raajneeti’, the actress is said to be all set to play megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter in Jha’s next venture ‘Aarakshan.’‘Aarakshan’ will reportedly be a hard-hitting film, based on socio-political realities of present day system (focusing primarily on the burning issues of job reservations), in which Amitabh’s character would be inspired by none other than his illustrious father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Interestingly, Katrina, who earlier spent significant time educating herself on the niceties of Indian politics, is reading a lot on job-reservation for ‘Aarakshan.’ The last time when Katrina and Amitabh shared screen space was for Ram Gopal Varma’s Box Office hit ‘Sarkar.’ In ‘Aarakshan’, Katrina will be seen opposite Ajay Devgn. The film is set in the backdrop of academics and job reservations, where Amitabh plays the role of a college principal and Ajay Devgn plays a student, who supports job-reservation.
