Miley and her mother fell for Liam together

London: `Hannah Montana` star Miley Cyrus and her mother, both fell for her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth simultaneously while shooting for their new movie.

But the 17-year-old actress was apprehensive about dating her ``The Last Song`` co-star as she found him "too pretty", reported Contactmusic. "I don`t know who had a bigger crush on him at the beginning, my mom or me. I was like, `No, maybe he`s just too pretty. I don`t want to be with someone who`s better looking than me. That`s like awkward`," said Cyrus. The 19-year-old Australian actor has said that the pair gradually came closer while shooting the film, on which Miley`s mother Tish was the executive producer, because they were "each other`s only friend". "We spent a lot of time together. We`re shooting together every day and together on weekends and we were kind of each other`s only friends down there. We just got really close. We enjoyed being around each other," he said. PTI
