George Lucas to unite James Dean and Marilyn Monroe onscreen

Los Angeles: `Star Wars` creator George Lucas has embarked on his most ambitious project ever, a film which will use computer wizardry to bring icons like Marilyn Monroe and James Dean alive on screen. The sci-fi icon has been buying the film rights to dead movie legends to put them together on screen, reported Sun online.
British comedian Mel Smith, a long-time collaborator of the filmmaker, said that Lucas is planning a casting coup which combines Hollywood icons with new-age stars. Smith who directed Lucas`s 1994 film `Radioland Murders`, said Lucas was "obsessed" with computer-generated imagery. "George has been buying up the film rights to dead actors in the hope of using computer trickery to put them all together, so you`d have Orson Welles and Marilyn Monroe alongside today`s stars," said Smith.
