‘What a Bebo’ is a compliment for Lara Dutta!

Mumbai: Lara Dutta is basking in a strange compliment these days. She is being called ‘What a Bebo’ and she is enjoying it - even more so because the compliment has nothing to do with rival Kareena Kapoor. Latest news has it that the former Miss Universe is shooting for a song ‘What a Bebo’ for David Dhawan’s flick ‘Do Knot Distrub’.But the song has absolutely no connection with Kareena, whose nickname is Bebo or her recent song ‘Bebo Main Bebo’ from ‘Kambakkht Ishq’. Director of the film David Dhawan explained, `` This song has no relevance to Kareena`s name being Bebo. Bebo is basically a Punjabi word which is often used in a romantic context to compliment a girl, especially on her looks, as is used in the song `What a Bebo` in ‘Do Knot Disturb’, where Riteish is complimenting Lara by addressing her as `Bebo`.” At the recently concluded IIFA, Riteish Deshmukh and Govinda were also seen dancing on `What a Bebo`. Whatever may be David’s intentions but surely, the song is bound to stir interest as well as controversy with two ‘Bebo’ songs in the chart list.
