British comedian David Walliams has decided to take the leap into the glamorous world of Hollywood.

London: British comedian David Walliams has decided to take the leap into the glamorous world of Hollywood. According to a news daily, Walliams of the Little Britain fame will now act in a Hollywood flick about a dog.
Walliams, 37, has bagged a multi-million-dollar lead role in Marmaduke - a film that is not only much awaited but is also being seen as the next Beethoven. The star will play the role of a dog trainer named Anton. Talking about the movie, Walliams said, "I am absolutely thrilled. The script is hilarious - I shoot it over the summer." The film is based on the classic comic strip of the same name, which is about a naughty Great Dane and the Winslow family. The film is being made by the 20th Century Fox and they hope there will be sequels to the movie as well. A source said, "This is a huge opportunity for David to show the world what he can do. Hugh Laurie became a superstar after being in the Stuart Little films…….David could do the same." ANI
