New York, May 08: Hollywood actor Zachary Quinto, who will be seen as Spock in the forthcoming ‘Star Trek’ flick, could not get Spock’s ``live long and prosper`` Vulcan salute right, as he was unable to stick his fingers together.
Quinto, who plays Spock in the new ‘Star Trek’ film, "couldn`t train his fingers to do the ``live long and prosper`` Vulcan salute, which left the director with no option but to tie his finger with rubber, reports the New York Post.
A source has revealed that when even tying Quinto’s fingers together did not work, fed-up director JJ Abrams "glued Zachary`s fingers together during filming."
Prior to Quinto, Leonard Nimoy portrayed Spock in the ‘Star Trek’ series.
