Bhubaneswar: Krishna Reddy, the leader of the Prince Dance Group which won India`s Got Talent competition in a television show has made Orissa proud, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said. The chief minister called him a `magician of Orissa which had made the state proud` and offered him chocolate and soft drinks.
Patnaik had called up Krishna over phone and wished him and his troupe the best before the grand finale on Saturday night and voting for the group through SMS. "I could not believe that it was a call from Naveen Babu," Krishna told reporters here after meeting Patnaik at his residence soon after returning from Mumbai. "I will work hard to create a special name for the state," he said. The support and wishes from different quarters helped boost the morale of the Prince Dance Group, Krishna said before leaving for his home village of Ambapua, near Berhampur in Ganjam district. Krishna arrived here by air, while other members including two artistes afflicted by polio were returning by Konark Express.
