Love doesn`t want Pattinson to play Kurt Cobain

New York: Singer Courtney Love has denied reports that she has chosen `Twilight` star Robert Pattinson to play Kurt Cobain in the biopic. She said, "Isn`t that so stupid, who would cast him? That`s just wrong, no offence. I watched the `Twilight` stuff very, very recently and I get it, it resonates with the teenaged girl in me, I understand epic love of that nature; I write about it all the time. But isn`t that silly?"

She said she probably will never sit through the entire film, which is still in early production stages, but wants to approve casting and the script. Love said she hopes her friend and producer Trudie Styler (wife of Sting) will act as her "proxy" to ensure the movie is done right, reports a news website. Love met Cobain in 1990 and they married in 1992. However, in 1994 Cobain was found in his Seattle, Washington home, killed by a self inflicted shotgun wound to his head. The couple have a daughter together called Frances Bean Cobain. IANS
