American stand up comedienne Rosie O’ Donnell has signed a deal with Oprah Winfrey to host her own talk show on Oprah’s new network.

London: American stand up comedienne Rosie O’ Donnell has signed a deal with Oprah Winfrey to host her own talk show on Oprah’s new network.
O`Donnell will be returning to U.S. daytime TV with a talk show on Oprah Winfrey’s new network, reports the Daily Star. She will present a daily hour-long show from New York on cable network OWN, which is set to launch in January 2011. TV executives have announced the deal but have yet to confirm a launch date for the as-yet-untitled programme. The 48-year-old comedienne previously hosted her own successful talk show in America from 1996 to 2002. “Rosie is an undeniable talent who has captivated TV audiences for nearly 20 years. She’s a true original, who brings her authentic voice, dynamic energy and pure passion to everything she does,” a statement released by Winfrey reads. ANI
