Sylvester Stallone’s paintings sell out

New York: Hollywood action hero Sylvester Stallone is as good with paintbrushes as he is with machine guns and the first exhibition of his paintings has become a sold-out affair.

The `Rambo` star loves painting and 30 of his abstract works painted over the past 35 years are on exhibition in New York. And all of the works in the show have sold for prices ranging from USD 50,000 to USD 150,000, reported New York Post online. The actor-director-writer is of the opinion that his paintings are a work of passion. "If you feel a passion for something, you can move mountains," said the 64-year-old actor. But despite the success he has no plans to make a career out of painting and is preparing to direct a sequel to his hit 2010 action film `The Expendables`. "We have a story, work is on," said the veteran about the project. PTI
