Kat Von D’s reality show ‘LA Ink’ axed

Melbourne: Tattoo artist Kat Von D has lost her reality show ‘LA Ink’ after television network TLC has decided not to renew the program for another season.

The network has announced on Thursday that the currently airing fourth season will mark the conclusion of the show entirely. “The network is proud of what the series has accomplished in its four seasons, following Kat Von D’s journey as an artist from Miami to Los Angeles,” the Daily Telegraph quoted TLC as saying in a statement. They added that the series finale will air on September 15. However, Von D, 29, is maintaining that she quit the show before TLC cancelled it. “I love how me deciding to not continue doing LA Ink, turns into being ‘cancelled.’ Thanks @TLC. Regardless of everything I remain grateful,” she wrote on her Twitter account. ANI
