New Delhi: Mahie Gill and director Tigmanshu Dhulia have teamed up once again after `Paan Singh Tomar`. The actress has now been signed on for the filmmaker`s next `Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster`.
Mahie plays the wife of Irrfan Khan`s titular character, athlete-turned-dacoit Paan Singh Tomar, in the upcoming film and her role in `Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster` is again set in a rural background.
"I will begin work on `Sahib..` in the next two months. The film is set against a feudal background and narrates a tale of love and passion against the back drop of caste politics," Dhulia told reporters.
"I cast Mahie in the film because she suits the character and can easily pull of the tempers as well as the coyness of a rural girl," said the director about the actress who won the Filmfare Award for Most Promising Newcomer for her debut in the edgy hit `Dev D`.
The film will be shot in Gujarat and Dhulia has already reccied the locations.
Meanwhile he is busy with the post production work of `Paan Singh Tomar` which will release in the last week of August.
