Britney Spears sells home

Los Angeles: Pop star Britney Spears has sold her Beverly Hills house for USD 4,253,000, almost 1 million dollars more than the asking price.

The 30-year-old `Toxic` hitmaker, who has sons Sean, six, and five-year-old Jayden with ex-husband Kevin Federline, is now planning to rent a property with fiance Jason Trawick, reported TMZ online. The house, which is situated in gated community, was initially listed for USD 2,995,000 and Spear`s representatives expected multiple bids and a bidding frenzy on the estate. The property could still sell for even more when a public hearing on the sale takes place next month. As Spears is under conservatorship in probate court, there has to be a hearing about the property, and anyone is free to attend and overbid the current accepted offer. PTI
