Advani watches `Khelein Hum...`; lauds Gowariker`s effort

Mumbai: Senior BJP leader L K Advani watched Ashutosh Gowariker`s `Khelein Hum Ji Jaan Se` in Delhi at a special screening and lauded the director`s effort.

Advani, who saw the film last night, told Gowariker that he had loved the film immensely. "It`s a wonderful film. It was a revelation about the Chittagong Uprising. The book is detailed and the movie does complete justice to the book right till the very end. The film goes beyond any Box Office collections. Congratulations for that," Advani told Gowariker. The director said he was completely overwhelmed with Advani`s response and lamented that he could not attend the screening in person as yesterday was his parents` wedding anniversary. Journalist and author of `Do and Die` Manini Chaterjee was present at the screening. Advani congratulated her for bringing the detailed account in the form of the book. PTI
