American singer Jessica Simpson wants a rough man

London: American singer Jessica Simpson is looking for a rough and tough man who is also spiritual.The 29-year-old singer, who was been linked to a string of famous men in recent years including `Gravity` hitmaker John Mayer and American footballer Tony Romo claims she now wants someone who can look after her while allowing her to be independent, Contactmusic reported.

"What is attractive to me about a man is a man`s spirituality. Just the way he carries himself. I kind of like a rough man a little bit. A man`s man," Simpson said. The `Dukes of Hazzard` star, who was recently embarrassed after ex-lover Mayer called her "sexual napalm", says she wants a supportive man. "I want a confident man. A man who understands me and can deal with my life and is not embarrassed by my life. And can support my life. And allow me to be powerful in the relationship. I`m not going to give up my role in this life to just be a housewife," Simpson said. PTI
